A man was trapped in a ventilator in a California vineyard for two days and was rescued by firefighters, thanks to calls from several neighbors who alerted to the presence of a suspect.

As reported New York Post, the 38-year-old subject was tracked down by police, who informed the rescue team of the situation to remove the man from the unusual location.

The protagonist noted that he went there to take pictures because “he likes to photograph old engines of farm equipment.”

The version did not convince the officers, who warned that “he had a lot more methamphetamine than photographic equipment”.

The man is undergoing medical treatment and upon recovery will be charged with Breaking and Entering and Possession of Drugs, as well as violating probation requirements.
