According to the Spanish media The voice of Asturias, the police arrested 30 people in Valladolid, León and Palencia for membership of a criminal organization, offenses related to prostitution, offenses against public health, money laundering and possession of prohibited weapons. In addition, 17 entries and registrations were made, including 14 in the province of Valladolid, two in that of Palencia and one in that of León.

The organization located the victims in Paraguay and brought them to Spain to engage in prostitution, reaching up to 50 women simultaneously in hostess clubs, where they distributed medicines and tried to develop the activity by acquiring new establishments.

The defendants had a network of 19 companies that committed money laundering, which they used to conceal the real property of the main managers of prostitution companies, since their identity was concealed by people interposed as straw men, according to the source.

During the operation, 308,000 euros in cash (approximately $ 367,000), in addition to guns and cocaine, and 37 property and 27 vehicles were seized.
