Miami landslide: two other missing Argentines have been identified | Ilan Naibryf and Nicole Langesfeld

As rescuers continued to work this Saturday after the 12-story building collapsed within the condominium complex Champlain towers, which caused the death of at least four people and the disappearance of 159, in the last few hours, the identity of two of the nine Argentines reported missing has been confirmed.

The Argentine Foreign Ministry had managed to identify seven Argentines, who belonged to two different families: one composed of four people who are joined by a Uruguayan relative, and another made up of three people.

Simultaneously with the rescue and search of the 159 missing due to the building collapse in Miami, relatives of the two young men broadcast messages to locate the two.

Via your Facebook account, Adriana zaidenvoren, Ilan Naibryf’s aunt shared the following message: “My nephew and his girlfriend were in the collapsed Surfside apartment building. They are missing. If you have any information or access to the hospital, PLEASE contact me!”

The 21-year-old Argentinian student is studying at the University of Chicago and was in Miami with his girlfriend, Deborah Berezdivin, a Puerto Rican national. Likewise, the Preparatory Academy of Hawaii and the University of Chicago mentioned Naibryf’s visit to their institutions upon hearing the news.

“Were excited. We are frustrated. They were angry. We are hopeful. We have faith but it’s difficult, it’s very difficult”, specified his mother, who specified that the young man traveled with his companion “for the funeral of a boy who died of Covid and that they then preferred to stay in Surfside”.

The other young woman identified is Nicole langesfeld, daughter of Argentines who was in Miami with her companion, Luis Sadovnic, a Venezuelan also much sought after by those close to him.

“I ask the competent authorities to allow us to act urgently and immediately and to allow those who are willing to work physically As a team with the rescuers who are on site and who will be able to better distribute the effort, ”asked Nicole’s uncle.

The list of Argentines wanted is completed Andrés Galfrascoli, a 44-year-old surgeon; your partner Fabien Nunez, 55; Yes Sofia galfrascoli Núñez, 5 years old, daughter of both; while the other person has been identified as Manuel Lafont, older.

The other missing family is made up of the architect Andrea Cattarossi, his sister Graciela and her 6-year-old daughter, who resides in Miami, and their parents, Gino Cattarosi 86 years old and Graciela from 82.

At the time of the collapse, the family would have been in the fifth floor of the Champlain South Tower. Andrea, a mother of three, had traveled to Miami to visit her sister.
