Faced with the huge public response to the 2020 call, which was priced at $ 5,000, the couple decided to organize a new scavenger hunt. However, this year’s loot is $ 10,000 in cash, a 10-ounce silver coin, and “other cool stuff” the couple buried.
The search began a few days ago when, via social media, the organizers shared the first clue to the location of the treasure written in the form of a poem. According to the filmmakers of the event, through their Instagram they will reveal new indications every week that help search engines in their mission, until the safe is found.
Maxim and Cline are hopeful that, unlike last year, when the chest was found on the fourth day of the search, this year the loot will remain buried throughout the summer.
