Police killed thief and neighbors celebrated – News

A terrible event took place last Wednesday in Angra Dos Reis, a few kilometers from Rio de Janeiro, when a criminal took a woman hostage in the middle of the street and the police shot her dead, killing her.

The subject had previously participated in an assault on a cell phone store and, upon seeing the police arrive, left the company with the woman hostage.

As the young man walked around pointing a 9mm caliber pistol at the victim’s head, he was pursued closely by police and military personnel, who had surrounded the area.

At one point, an officer in plain clothes shot the assailant mercilessly, who collapsed on the asphalt. Although he was transferred to a hospital in the area, he did not withstand the impact and died.

Most shocking is that, while all this was going on, the neighbors who were there celebrated and applauded the police attack on the criminal. Additionally, they filmed much of the event and the video went viral on social media.
