Women warned their ‘breasts grew’ after applying coronavirus vaccine

A group of women in Norway recently reported a suspected and unusual side effect after receiving Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

According to local news outlet NRK, it was the apparent breast enlargement on the side of the arm that received the drug.

It all started with a complaint from a TikTok user named Emma. With her, other girls shared their experiences and indicated that they had undergone the same alteration. The comments went viral and of course the experts in the field gave an explanation.

Consulted by the same Norwegian portal, Dr Heinrich Bachmann, chief medical officer of the Breast Diagnostic Center at Nordland Hospital, argued that the apparent effect of having larger breasts after vaccination may be quite natural.

According to the expert, this is really just an illusion, as inoculation can cause temporary inflammation of the lymph nodes near where the vaccine was received.

For their part, from Pfizer, they maintained that there had been no cases similar to those reported. However, they did not deny that such an immunological reaction may exist.
