Desperate: The moment a man tried to kidnap a five-year-old boy in broad daylight in New York

However, the man manages to escape, runs to the driver’s seat, opens the door and throw the baby in the car. The then desperate mother makes another key move: she puts her arms through the open window of the passenger seat, occupied by a bald man, around 50, in glasses, jeans and an orange T-shirt. He struggles and manages to get the boy out of the car, an old four-door sedan.

The reaction of the little brothers is also moving: the footage allows us to see how the girl pursues the failed kidnapper and fights to save the boy, while the other boy assists the mother in the passenger seat.

Intense search for the two suspects

This happened at 117-02 Hillside Avenue, at the intersection of Myrtle Avenue, in the Borough of Queens. It was around 8 p.m. and the 45-year-old mother and her three children were going to pick up their father, who works a few meters from the place.
