The fines imposed by INE total 1,203 million pesos; Morena was the most penalized

This afternoon at National Electoral Institute (OTHER) announced that the audit of candidates for the June 6 elections has been completed. The electorate indicated that fine all political parties for offenses and the total of fines added 1,203 million pesos.

On top of that, local parties will have to pay 96.8 million pesos and independent candidates with 6.

According to Córdova Vianello, these actions will function as an “exercise of transparency and reinforcement”.

This Thursday, the INE also approved the fines of both PVEM for hiring influencers to promote them during the electoral ban. As well as Samuel García Sepúlveda, governor-elect of Nuevo León.

The council decided to impose a fine of 41 million pesos on Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) for hiring “influencers” and violating the electoral ban in the June 6 poll.

Likewise, the electorate confirmed that, as part of the sanction, suspended the broadcasting of radio and television spots, for one year, from next August.

With 10 votes for and one against, this decision was taken due to the omission of the expense report made by the PVEM in a election propaganda campaign in the amount of 20 million 466,784 pesos, money used for hire 104 “influencers” in order to promote political strength and its proposals.

In the case of Monterrey, the The General Council approved the fines imposed on García Sepúlveda, governor-elect of Nuevo León and of the party to which he belongs, Citizen movement.
