Entrepreneur owed money destroyed property with crane, then surrendered | the Chronicle

One German entrepreneur distraught with fury because of a large sum of money owed to him, he made the drastic decision to demolish all properties for the same using a machine.

The incident happened on Wednesday at Vogtgasse in Blumberg, Germany, around 7:30 p.m. The 47-year-old man was assisted by a chain shovel and thus destroyed large parts of the complex brand new including around thirty units.

At the end, he got in his car and drove off. hours later surrendered to the police and justified his action saying it was a way of claiming the pending money. The damage caused exceeds half a million euros.

Although there was no one in the establishment, at the time of the occurrence nearly 50 people surrounded the scene to find out what was going on. The businessman destroyed several gas cylinders, so police cordoned off the area due to the uncertainty of what could happen.
