A man shared the story to express his displeasure at the attention received, but netizens repudiated his actions.

A man, who tried to generate empathy by showing a dinner ticket, posted his dissatisfaction with the service received after paying the bill. But contrary to his wishes, he did not get the response he expected because his post caused enormous outrage from internet users on social networks.

Enrique Moris, exposed the dinner ticket in which he spent more than 4000 euros (nearly 500,000 pesos at the official exchange rate) and complained about the cost of table service via his Twitter account. After sharing details of the products consumed at a restaurant in the town of Marbella, located in southern Spain, the post sparked enormous anger among netizens who went viral and responded to the unusual lament from the ‘man.

“A club in Marbella, they charge us 372 euros for the service, we pay and we get up, the waiter comes running upset and asking if we were not going to leave a tip. Marbella the new Ibiza, traps everywhere, ”Moris wrote on his Twitter account.

The dinner voucher post received over 6,000 retweets, 4,000 comments and 3,700 likes. In the post, Moris showed the ticket of the eight guests who consumed 13 beers, eight sodas, eleven waters and more than 40 glasses of alcohol. They also ordered eight burgers for 28 euros each (about 3,200 pesos each).

In addition, they ordered a bottle of Don Perignon champagne, worth 1,000 euros (115,000 pesos). The total cost of the account was 4,098 euros.

However, Moris’s claim, instead of generating empathy, was criticized by users as they pointed out that behind the dump there was a clear ostentation to show how much they spent on food.

“The rich, new and old are people who have money. They can be smart or stupid no matter how much money they have. Based on their actions, you can tell which side they belong to and, regarding the type of tip, I clearly know which side it is, ”one user wrote.

Moris, who presents himself in his account as a “day-trader in love with the stock market”, but specifies that his tweets “are not recommendations to buy”, gave his discharge and replied to all the people who criticized them with a new post.

“Don’t worry, but I just paid for the famous 10 minute market food,” he said, and posted a picture of the stock exchange where it can be inferred that he earned more than money to keep spending on other ostentatious dinners.
