Israel Expanded Application of Third Dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine to All People Over 50 and Medical Staff, two weeks after the start of this campaign for the over 60s.

Three of the four companies that provide health services in the country, Clarit, Maccabi and Meuhedet, announced that they will start making appointments for this third dose to people over 50 from this Friday and predictably they will start the inoculation on Sunday.

Israel is entering a fourth wave of the pandemic adding roughly last week between 5,000 and 6,000 new positives per day – some figures that had not been recorded since February – and the country has 42,366 currently active cases and 760 hospitalized patients including 445 serious.
