This forest fire season is getting more and more intense and destructive. In the Argentina, a region of the province of Cordoba is being devastated by a fire.

Hundreds of fires broke out in Greece this month following the worst heat wave the country has seen in some three decades. A major fire threatened towns on the outskirts of Athens this week. Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes in a region of the Côte d’Azur. The recent forest fires have killed at least 75 people in Algeria and 16 in Turkey, according to information from local authorities.
