Seven detained in Santa Fe for broadcasting images of child sexual abuse

During the raids, a large number of items such as computers, cell phones, data storage equipment and sex toys, among others, were seized.

During the investigation, the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPA) of Santa Fe had the collaboration of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the nation, through the unit which combats these crimes.

Justice spokespersons said the investigation uncovered exchanges of pornographic material involving minors among detainees and people residing in Peru, Colombia, Guatemala, Uruguay and Mexico.

The detainees and the material seized were at the disposal of the prosecutor Alejandro Benítez, representative of the public prosecutor of the department of Las Colonias, whose head is the town of Esperanza.
