A Spanish activist who founded a NGO to Kenya was accused of abuse and the exploitation of children. The European assures that the complaint is a revenge of the former workers.

The accused, identified as Marta Oreja, is being held pending trial on July 24. Through the Facebook page of his NGO, “Supporting Healthcare in Kenya”, he claimed that these are “false accusations made by the former principal of the Kombani school”, which would not work without his NGO based. in Navarre. According to Oreja’s account, he left control of the organization to this manager and a woman during the two years of the pandemic in which he returned to Spain. On his return to Kenya, local families told him that in his absence everything was no longer free for the 122 children who attend the institution. As a result, Oreja fired the woman and filed an extortion complaint.

In retaliation, in the opinion of the Spanish woman, they denounced her for child abuse and exploitation. In addition, she assured that she was threatened with death.
