The murdered young woman has been identified as Priscilla de Sousa Gonçalves, 21, assaulted in the street by her husband, who discovers her accompanied by her alleged lover. For her part, the husband and femicide of the 21-year-old girl told authorities that she had gone to the scene because, apparently, Priscila had told her by cell phone that she had been stabbed. However, authorities checked the security cameras and found that it was he himself who had committed the femicide.

Military police had received a complaint that Priscila’s body was lying on the ground at 2:30 a.m. last Friday. Femicide was arrested some time later and transferred to the Guardia Civil police station. In addition, the weapon used by the perpetrator of the femicide was seized.

After escaping without rescue, the victim’s lover appeared before the military police, accompanied by his lawyer. The suspect was referred to the judicial police and must answer for the offense of failure to provide assistance.

Three traffic cops arrested for femicide in Santa Fe

Intercepting them, he began to signal them with lights, with the siren on, until he forced them to stop the vehicle on the shoulder.

Leguizamón asked González to speak on his own and at that point he executed her with a bullet in the head. Then he opened fire twice in an attempt to kill his ex’s current partner, who managed to remove his service weapon as they struggled, law enforcement and court sources told local media.
