A team of scientists from around the world gathered in the Drastic Group this week released a series of leaked documents that once again sparked controversy over the possible start of the coronavirus pandemic in the city of Wuhan, China.

According to Drastric, the Chinese government was planning, through the Wuhan Institute of Virology, to genetically modify new coronaviruses for experiments on bats. The group explained that for this reason, in 2018, China requested funding from the United States. But the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), in charge of granting the loans, rejected the request because of the danger of “endangering local communities”.

The information provided by anonymous whistleblowers matches a grant proposal submitted to DARPA, in which Chinese researchers intended to release a coronavirus into the air to infect bats. The objective of the experiment was to carry out studies which would be used to fight against diseases which affect man.

Documents say the EcoHealt Alliance, an organization that develops scientific solutions to prevent pandemics, chaired by Peter Daszak, has worked with the Wuhan Institute of Virology to develop “advanced” research on human pathogens. and “dangerous”, and more precisely on the coronavirus in bats, as part of a project called Defuse.

But according to experts at Drastic, Defuse has been rejected by the credit bureaus. “The project led by Peter Daszak could have put local communities at risk,” resolved DARPA, which also warned that “the team had not sufficiently taken into account the dangers of improving the virus or launching a vaccine in the air “.

Drastic said the funding proposal “includes certain elements of the research that are already known through various scientific papers, as well as others that have never been made public. In addition, he indicated that “vaccination of wild bats using aerosol virus and other work on published and unpublished strains that could have directly produced SARS-CoV-2”.

As the report concludes, “These grant proposal documents also show an astonishing level of deep involvement of the EcoHealth Alliance with the Wuhan Institute of Virology on issues of national concern.”

There are many hypotheses about the origin and the international team that was sent to Wuhan carried out a series of studies and surveys that do not exclude anything.
