Long lines of vehicles at UK gas stations continue on Tuesday, as well as the frustration of citizens, while Army truck drivers are ready if they need to help transport fuel to gas stations.

The measure was passed Monday by the London executive before the UK crisis worsened by driver shortage and fuel-shortage citizens panic, which triggered the request.

By government decree, military drivers – who will receive emergency training – will bring gasoline to service stations “where it is needed most and to give more guarantees that the fuel supply remains robust”, as the executive reported in a statement last night.

The lack of gasoline and diesel in the pumps is particularly regarding for the British Medical Association (MBA) who warned on Tuesday that their health workers “cannot afford” to spend hours waiting for refueling and call on the government to guarantee access to workers deemed essential.

The vice-president of the board of the BMA, David Wrigley, said on Tuesday to the station Radio schedules than workers in the sector “They get into the car today nervous, looking at the gas meter and wondering if they will have enough to get through their day’s work.”.

“We can’t wait two or three hours in line to fill the tank when we have patients waiting, so We call on the government to act today, make a plan and tell us what’s going on», He alerted.
