A man beat his wife after she called him and showed her how she had sex with another person in a car.

William Atkinson, 34, got a FaceTime call from his wife, not identified by the police, and when he answered he saw how the woman was in the middle of having sex with another man.

Full of fury, he asked a friend to drive him to the parking lot where the woman was staying at the Best Western Hotel in Somerset. There remained the 32-year-old wife, whom he had married three years ago.

According to the police report published by the Daily mail, Atkinson started beating and kicking her, and also assaulted the alleged lover, who fled the scene.

Officers who got there said the woman ended up with severe bruising and deep bleeding in the nose and mouth, “Struggling to breathe and asking for help.”

However, they also indicated that she was “extremely drunk” and uncooperative.

For its part, Atkinson was arrested and furiously explained that the victim was the one who “instigated” him with the explicit video calls.

Also, he tried to relativize his attack by ensuring that he had hit the woman with an open hand, without fists or kicks. However, a witness said he saw him kick the woman in the face. In this sense, the police reported that one of the assailant’s shoes was bloody.

So far, the victim impact statement is unknown and the identity or place of residence of the man accompanying him is not known.

Police recovered a pistol from the car Atkinson arrived in, but with no indication that there had been gunfire. They also found a knife and stun gun at the scene that Atkinson said belonged to his wife.

The assailant was charged with aggravated assault and recklessness, felony and misdemeanor, respectively. He was held on $ 30,000 bond.

For her part, the woman has an arrest for attempted murder in 2016, when she quarreled with her then-partner (it is not known if it was Atkinson) and shot. without hurting him. She then pleaded guilty to recklessness and was sentenced to two years’ probation.
