An Austrian amateur astronaut has captured an impressive image of the comet PANSTARRS (C / 2017 S3), which is rapidly increasing in brightness and could be visible to the naked eye in mid-August, reports the portal of the space weather.

Michael Jger photographed the comet on July 2 and in a few hours increased its brightness by 1600%. It is estimated that the atmosphere of this comet, surrounded by a huge cloud of dust and green gas, is about 260,000 kilometers in diameter, almost double that of Jupiter.

It is also reported that the Incredible Hulk approaches the Sun. and astronomers can not predict what will happen when they are exposed to solar heat, whether they are disintegrating or gaining momentum to project to the ends of the universe.

If they continue their current trajectory, PANSTARRS (C / 2017 S3)) reaches its closest point to the Sun between August 15 and 16. At the moment the comet is barely visible with telescopes, but the publication warns that this could change with the explosions in its layer of gas that had remained until here frozen.
