A recent study by the firm Toluna – cited by Corning – revealed that On average, people drop their phones seven times a year; half of the cases occur at about 1 meter in height.

Corning scientists have developed an entirely new material to resist multiple falls. On average, in laboratory tests, Gorilla Glbad 6 withstood 15 falls of 1 meter in height and is twice as effective as Gorilla Glbad 5 .

These crystals have an antireflection property and better scratch resistance. Corning says the new models improve screen readability by renewing 75% front-end thinking.

Currently, 45 international brands have used Corning crystals in more than 6 billion devices.

The company states that Corning Gorilla Glbad 6 is being evaluated by several customers and is expected to enter the market in the coming months.
