Health Minister Andrea Uboldi signed Thursday collaborative agreements with the National Cancer Institute (INC) with the goal of leading joint actions to reduce incidence and mortality of this disease and improve the quality of life. In this regard, Ms. Uboldi explained that "we have worked very hard on the theme of cancer, in the prevention and reduction of mortality, with a register of the population and territorial particularities. The goals we incorporate are always built into an integral network that works in that direction. "
The agreements, also signed by the directors of the INC, Julia Ismael, and the Provincial Agency for the Fight Against Cancer, Gabriela Quintanilla, contemplate the implementation of three lines of work: national palliative care programs, prevention and early detection of colorectal cancer, and the third, cancer research, between INC and the province of Santa Fe.
