A Palestinian stabs an Israeli to death and injures two others in the West Bank

07/27/2018 – A Palestinian teenager armed with a knife killed an Israeli and wounded two others in the Geva Binyamin settlement in the occupied territory of Cisjodanie, after which he was shot by one of the locals.

This episode refers to knife attacks that took place a year ago as Israel performs a series of demolitions of Palestinian buildings in the West Bank

Just two days ago, a daycare center and a community center were demolished in the Bedouin village from Jaba al Baba, both built with the support of the European Union. One of the buildings accommodated 28 children from the village and provided childcare, while the other was a community center for 45 local women.

The city is one of 18 Bedouin populations at risk of demolition since it approved the Israeli urban project known as "Corridor E1", which aims to connect Jerusalem to the Israeli settlement of Maale Adumim.

Palestinians and the international community believe that Israeli construction in the region is detrimental to peace negotiations.
