Cordovan Carlos Zannini, former Secretary of Legal and Technical Affairs of Kirchner, left on Tuesday to refuse a complaint from the Anti-Corruption Bureau for its alleged illicit enrichment and a scrub of the town of Villa María, which he denied having known about.
In the complaint, Anticorrupción points against Daniel Souto, appeared as an independent in 2000, but who, in recent years, reportedly recorded a suspicious real estate development in the city located 150 km south of the provincial capital.
"Souto has been registered as a monotributist in the category of up to 25,000 pesos", but "appears as owner of properties and vehicles and as president of different companies," said the office headed by Laura Alonso , according to Infobae.
According to the document, to become a freelancer, Souto would become the owner of 19 properties, two plots, a complex of cabins, several companies and high-end cars.
"We understand that Carlos Alberto Zannini illegally enriched himself during the performance of his duties, acquiring at least various properties in the province of Córdoba, and that he allegedly used Daniel Alejandro Souto to disguise and hide the said properties detected by the control agencies, "says the complaint.
What did Zannini say?
In response to the complaint, Zannini's lawyers presented a letter in which the former head of Kirchner denied any relationship with the gomeran.
- "I completely ignore all the circumstances reported, and if these have been enriched, simply because:
- I have never spoken to this person.
- I have never been to any of his businesses, in his house, or anywhere else.
- I have never been to his area, which, according to them, is not intended to change or inflate an elastic band.
- I did not drink coffee, water, coffee, or any other drink with this person and I guess I never shook his hand.
- I never exchanged a word with him or through a person who interposed.
- While it was true that Mr Souto, whom I insisted I do not know, has progressed economically, we should think that this is due to his own efforts ".
For Zannini, this is an "imprescriptible" imputation and calls into question the use of anonymous complaints by the artist.
