This percentage is reached thanks to an additional 20% signed on Tuesday by the syndicate of trade employees headed by Cavalieri.
The Commerce Employees Union announced Tuesday that its affiliates would receive a further 20% wage increase, which would equate to a cumulative 45%.
The salary adjustment is based on March 2018 and continues until the same month of 2019. The union had already agreed to 25% and, in the new negotiations, an additional 20%. These will be paid according to the following scale: 7% in January, 7% in February and 6% in March.
From the group led by Armando Cavalieri pointed out that the increase obtained is independent of the end-of-year bonus led by the national government. This section "will be subject to different treatment for SMEs, depending on their financial situation," said the union.
By October, it had already been decided to advance the 10% increase that should be halted in November and January (two installments). In addition, the negotiation provided for in the review clause was scheduled for November.
In this way, the Trade Workers Union keeps the salary in line with the inflation forecast for this year.
