According to the official communication of the Central Bank, neither public entities nor private companies will open their doors throughout the national territory.

Public and private banks throughout Argentina will not open their doors to the public Friday for a "holiday" determined by the authorities as part of the G20 leaders summit.

The Central Bank has solved this problem by Decree No. 967/18 signed by Daniel Palópoli, responsible for the regulation, and Matías Gutiérrez Girault, responsible for the publication of standards.

"We are writing to inform you that this institution has adopted the following resolution: provide a bank holiday on November 30, 2018 throughout the region of the Argentine Republic, "said the statement.

The decision was taken early this month as part of the government's preparations for the development of the G20 summit, to be held Friday and Saturday on the Costa Salguero area of ​​Buenos Aires.

End of the conflict with the guilds

The banking badociation agreed Monday afternoon with the Chamber of Commerce ABAPPRA, which includes public banks, the payment of the wage increase corresponding to 12% last October, as part of the joint agreement signed in April latest.

The agreement was confirmed by a guild statement led by Sergio Palazzo, who he will not go with the force measures that he had announced to announce as a result of this conflict, after which they realized last Friday in the state banks.

According to the union, ABAPPRA refused to comply with the wage agreement signed by the other three chambers, ABA, ADEBA and ABE.

Palazzo had stated a few days ago that there was no "economic reason" for these entities not to pay the same price as the private entities disbursed.
