The Conmebol confirmed that the disciplinary court had rejected Boca's request to disqualify River and declared the Xeneize Copa Libertadores champion.
Therefore, Boca has the right to appeal to the Conmebol Court of Appeal and, in case of rejection, to the CAS.
Below is the text of the decision:
The Disciplinary Tribunal of Conmebol, decides:
1º. DO NOT PLACE the petition filed in the complaint presented by the JUNIORS OF CLUB ATLÉTICO BOCA, November 25, 2018 and its extension presented on November 27, 2018.
2º. ORDER the Conmebol club's competition department to reprogram the last match of the 2018 Conmebol Libertadores between Atlético River Plate and Club Atlético Boca Juniors.
3º. NOTIFY Club Atlético Boca Juniors, River Plate Athletic Athletes Club and Conmebol Club.
Against this decision he can be appealed to the CONMEBOL Appeals Chamber within seven consecutive days from the day following the notification of this decision, as it has already been notified with its reasons. The appeal must comply with the formalities required by article 59 and following of the Disciplinary Regulations of the Conmebol. In accordance with Article 63.5 of the Conmebol Disciplinary Rules, the appeal fee in USD. 1,000 (US Dollars) must be paid by bank transfer.
