Ants save a rape of 16 years

An Indonesian teen avoided being raped through the help of a colony of black ants, reports The Daily Mail.

The miraculous intervention of these insects occurred on January 19 in the city of Sukamaju, in South Sulawesi Province. The 16-year-old girl was invited by a 29-year-old woman to take a drive.

During the ride, the man asked the girl to start a badual relationship with what the teenager had refused. When she stopped in a small urban area, the girl tried to escape. The young man, however, forced her into the car again and they left for another city.

At one point, the badailant stopped the vehicle, dragged the girl into bushes and threw her to the ground before preparing to rape her. However, the providential intervention of the ants saved her.

The animal colony appeared suddenly to attack both. The teenager escaped her rapist and asked for help in nearby homes.

Eventually, the man was arrested and the case is being investigated by law enforcement authorities.
