Guaidó denounced the harassment of the police against his family

President Juan Guaidó, self-proclaimed, denounced the fact that special forces of the Venezuelan police were at home he therefore reproached Nicolás Maduro "all they could do to his family".

"Right now, there are the FAES (Special Police Forces) at my home asking for my wife Fabiana, my daughter is at my house and I hold them responsible for everything they can do to my baby's 20 months, "he wrote in Twitter the anti-Chavez leader.

A few hours earlier, in an interview given to the Spanish newspaper El País, Guaidó had blamed the president for the violence unleashed in Venezuela in recent years, although he ruled out the possibility of a civil war.

"There is no risk of civil war because 90% of the population wants change," Guaidó said. "There is a small military leadership or support for the regime that is a non-paramilitary security for armed paramilitaries (…) to have any kind of resonance".

The anti-Chavez leader admitted that there was a risk of violence, but quickly pointed out that "the only ones who talk about violence and exercise it, besides the FAES and the paramilitaries, are Maduro and his regime. ".

"Those who feed a thesis like this fuel precisely the violence," he insisted.

In addition, he was convinced that "at some point, the dissatisfaction of the armed forces will be expressed and that the opportunity must be opposed to the Constitution".
