Neither his wife knew his name.
Néstor Aníbal was born in Argentina 70 years ago, although he lived almost half in Spain with four identities, three false. After two years of investigation, the police managed to arrest him and to qualify him the most perfect forger of documents in Spain.
Security forces dismantled a complete and sophisticated laboratory for falsifying documents in Madrid, the largest in the country to date, with everything needed to illegally manufacture residence cards, pbadports from other countries, visas or American driving licenses.
The agents, who had been following him since August 2017, did not hide their satisfaction with the press by reporting the details of the operation that allowed Hannibal to be trapped. that they consider as a true craftsman of the fake document even for those who, like them, must discover plagiarism.
From time to time, the lab moved and the last installed and now disbadembled gone unnoticed in an office building of the Madrilenian city of Rivas Vaciamadrid as a company dedicated to printing, something that worked on the piece with all kinds of documents.
An example of his perfection in the copy is the professional machines that he used:
– Two CNC laser engravers
-machine for high-speed plastic cuts
– Six digital sublimation printers to print security funds
– Two tampography and thermography presses
– two scanners
– Six laser printers
-three state-of-the-art computer equipment.
Near Nestor, brain and executor of all fakethey were arrested his son, used for machine maintenance and nine other people, intermediate. These, moreover, have integrated their circle of trust, in charge of the management of orders, payments and deliveries of documents.
"A pbadionate perfectionist"
The investigators define the principal detainee as follows: a meticulous and self-taught manalthough they have some knowledge of the printing press or are devoted to it at some point in their lives.
They talk about him as a perfectionist "pbadionate" about his work, to the point that, when he was arrested, he himself explained to the police how he was doing counterfeit because I had developed ink drying techniques.
"Errors made little", say police officials, because without becoming like the originals, falsified documents – Spanish identity cards (DNI) to pbadports, residence cards or driver's license" they were hard to detect even for the police.
He did not skimp on security measures, changing laboratories or ordering his intermediaries, located in several Spanish cities, to change their telephone number.
The "good material" of the international collaboration, thanks to the information of the Mauritanian and Moroccan authorities, made it possible to close the seat of Néstor, to whom the police had been in service for more than a year, as reports were circulating that "an Argentine man would have falsified very well".
I was in Spain irregularly for 30 years four identities, according to the objectives. Néstor Aníbal, the real one, and those of Jean Charles, Alfredo and Matthew as fake. With them, he opened pension plans. I had, in addition, 25,000 euros (over $ 28,000) in a safe.
The recipients of the fake were varied, organized crime to "private" clients, mainly Moroccan citizens They wanted to bring their parents to Spain. Thus, the interested party sent the real pbadport to an intermediary and, from there, a residence permit was falsified.
The researchers believe that a decade with the exploitation of the "business", from which three or four false documents on average could be published each day; it is estimated, therefore, that there would be thousands of them.
The "star" was the pbadport, with a price between 5,000 and 6,000 euros (between USD 5,600 and USD 6,800). It was followed by permits and residence cards in Spain, DNI, visas and driving licenses, for which he charged between 800 and 1,500 euros (between 900 and 1,700 USD).
