The "escape" of a chimpanzee become viral

A chimpanzee used a fallen branch after a storm to escape its enclosure at the Belfast Zoo (Northern Ireland, UK), reports Belfast Live.

Park visitors were surprised to attend the event. "We had a little more than we expected at the Belfast Zoo when we were greeted by a chimpanzee who had escaped from his dealership and was walking around," Chantel Baxter told the media.

The visitor explained that neither she nor her partner feared danger, but that their children "were shocked". He added that they had alerted the zoo management about this.

For its part, Belfast City Hall, which manages the zoo, said the animal was quickly returned to its premises and the incident was currently under investigation.
