They saved a newborn from a sewer after his mother flushed her in South Africa. They had to use excavators.
A newborn baby was rescued from a South African drainage Monday, after being trapped in a depth of seven meters. His mother had thrown him in the toilet.
It is thanks to the neighbors that the baby was saved: they heard the crying and called the emergency services. Rescuers had to use excavators for three hours to save him.
After rescuing her, she was flown to Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Durban, where she was treated for mild hypothermia and minor injuries. His parents were not yet localized.
The rescuers had to dig around the drain in which the little one was. Neighbors in the area donated kitchen cabinet doors to bolster digs and prevent landslides.
He woke up because his baby was crying and he found his wife beheaded
