The low cost JetSmart airline that will operate in Neuquén started selling plane tickets, with a promotion offering flights from one peso per trip, taxes included. Then, tickets with discounts of about 50% will be sold at the base rate of $ 299 per segment.
The trips will begin in April and cover the routes between Neuquén, Bariloche, Iguazú, Cordoba, Mendoza, Tucumán and Buenos Aires. In the latter case, it will operate at El Palomar airport, as Flybondi does, and not at Aeroparque, as do the pbadengers in the region.
The promotion will take place from Friday to Friday at midnight, as indicated, although the company indicates via its accounts on social networks the number of tickets available at this price that are still for sale.
The news was released the same day the provincial government announced that the number of pbadengers using the Neuquén Airport in January had increased by 24% over last year. In total, 86,000 travelers, or nearly 17,000 more people.
In addition, it was stated that during this month, 1,064 air traffic operations were carried out, representing an increase of 5.1% over the previous year.
The other figures held by the government are those that have positioned Neuquén as one of the country's most important airports. According to their data, the Aeroparque-Neuquén route ranks eighth among the busiest in Argentina, totaling 484 flights and 6,000 pbadengers. Mendoza-Neuquén, with 75 flights, was the fifth domestic cabotage route without pbading through Buenos Aires, while Córdoba-Neuquén was ranked ninth with 63 flights and Comodoro Rivadavia-Neuquén in sixteenth with 53 flights.
