The measures decreed on Thursday by the Supreme Court are against Simón Antúnez, Gustavo J. Velásquez, David Smolansky, Carlos José Balza and Ricardo Alfredo Prada.
All are board members of PDVSA, appointed by Guaidó.
They also affect Luisa Palacios, who has been named Chairman of the Board of Directors of PDV Holding Inc., a company to which Citgo belongs, and Edgar Rincon, Oswaldo Nunez, Fernando Vera, Elio Tortolera and Andrés Padilla.
As well, Angel Olmeta, Oswaldo Nuñez, Javier Troconis and Rick Esser, appointed to Citgo Holding Inc., are subject to the same precautionary measures.
"Those who appear here are guilty of crimes of usurpation of functions and other crimes of public action in the judicial system relating to corruption, organized crime and terrorism, among others", the statement said.
The highest court also stated that the Parliament's agreement constituted a "flagrant violation of the constitutional text and the socio-economic system of the republic" and that it "constituted a new attack on the state. by right".
Finally, he urged the National Executive and PDVSA to "take the necessary steps to protect the oil industry and its trade".
