The lawyers of Nicolás Gil Pereg, the Israeli defendant who murdered his mother and aunt in early January, reported on Tuesday that the police robbed his client of $ 70,000 on the day of his arrest at his home in Buena Nueva, Guaymallén.

In addition, the legal representatives of Gil Pereg-Maximiliano Legrand, Marcos Segovia and Lautaro Brachetta- made another appearance in court, claiming that on Monday morning, detainees from the San Felipe complex escaped from their respective cells and attempted to violate those of Gil Pereg. intentions to hurt him. After presenting the letter to the prosecutor Ríos, the magistrate gave up extracting a certificate from the corresponding prosecutor's office to investigate the reported crimes. This, because he did not consider that there were enough elements to do it. In view of this, a new complaint will be presented again with more details.

With regard to the theft of money reported by the detainee, it allegedly took place in the afternoon of Friday, 25 January, when his home was put into operation on Roca Street 6079, the public prosecutor Ríos having ordered his in detention after verification. that blood stains discovered during a raid belonged to one of the missing women.

But that afternoon, the suspect having left his property, they set up a surveillance station for several hours. Around age 15, Gil Pereg was present and brought nylon bags. The police officers badigned to the task apprehended Gil Pereg and took him to a cell phone at the ninth police station in Villa Nueva.

Apparently, in the bags that Gil Pereg had brought, there was a significant amount of money in the bills. They were left inside the property near the entrance because they did not know what they contained. The next day, when the investigators returned to search the bodies of the women, they seized the bags with the money that was kept in the same place.

As it appears in the record, inside these bags were found $ 50,000 in cash. However, Gil Pereg badured his lawyers that the amount was higher, which is why he asked that the corresponding certificate be extracted to determine if the money had been stolen.

The case

Phyria Saroussy and Lily Pereg arrived in Mendoza on Friday, January 11, and rented an apartment in the center of Ciudad, Avenida España 1139.
