They compare it to the famous app to find a partner. It facilitates the pairing of cattle and was launched on the market on Valentine's Day.

It's a kind of tinder but exclusively for cows. This controversial mobile app is calling Tudder and revolutionized the way for farmers to find potential partners for your livestock.

The application was launched on Valentine's Day. The name is for a mix between words Tinder and udder (which means udder in English), allows farmers, as in the popular use of quotes, to slide right to indicate the livestock they like and thus match it.

Once this step is complete, workers are directed to a page of the website. SellMyLivestock, where you can view other photos and information about animals before deciding whether to buy it or not.

As explained Doug Bairner, Executive Director of Hectare Agritech, a company that manages SellMyLivestock (SML) and Graindex, in Tudder, has valuable insights into topics such as milk yield and protein content or the potential for release, among others very interesting information.

The application has eligible singles in more than 42,000 farms across the UK, according to a newspaper article The Guardian. Currently, the SellMyLivestock site is used by one-third of farmers to advertise their available livestock.

history:

This is not the first time that something of this nature occurs. In 2018, zoos began to pbad their stallion books on a digital platform. This is the case in a Dutch zoo, where a female orangutan chose her mate on a tablet in 2017.
