Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is the most important political figure of this parliamentary republic, took part in the activity in the background. For several hours he had been to receive the Argentine president at the seat of government.

Rashtrapati Bhavan is the official residence of the President of India since the declaration of national independence. On an area of ​​19,000 square meters, it is the largest presidential residence in the world and one of the most remarkable buildings in New Delhi. Its construction was completed in 1929 and more than 700 million bricks and 85,000 cubic meters of stone were needed.

Prior to the independence of India, it was said that up to two thousand employees were needed to ensure the maintenance and care of the viceroy's family. Designed by the English architect Edwin Lutyens, Rashtrapati Bhavan combines European, Hindu, Buddhist and Mughal styles, the latter especially in the huge gardens located at the back.

The Argentine president visited several of the magnificent and imperial halls of the palace. After all the official meetings, he retired to start his activities with a tribute to the greatest figure of this country, Mahatma Gandhi, to Raj Ghat, the place where the remains of the Indian chief, revered every day by thousands of people, were cremated.

The day's activities will end with a state dinner in honor of Macri, his wife Juliana Awada and the national delegation.

In the afternoon, it will be the turn of the meeting with the CEOs of major companies in India, where will participate entrepreneurs from both countries.

Later, he will close the Business Forum in Mumbai, where he will travel Tuesday morning, before leaving for Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, the same day in the afternoon.
