They arrested the son of Federica Pais and that of a diplomat, accused of "motorcycles"

The son of journalist and driver Federica Pais and a diplomat were arrested on charges of being two "motorcycles" who committed three robberies in the party of Vicente Lopez in Buenos Aires, reported today police and judicial sources.

The detainees were identified as Dante Casermeiro, son of Pais, and Octavio Laje., who, according to sources, is the son of a diplomat who worked with economist and leader Martin Lousteua when he was ambbadador to the United States.

The arrests occurred yesterday when police received an alert regarding a motorcycle theft in the city of Olivos and arriving at the corner of San Lorenzo and José María Paz intercepted two suspects whose appearance was consistent with the description provided by the victim.

The young people traveled on a motorcycle and had in their possession two replicas of pistols – one of them with compressed air, cell phones, a homemade hammer to break the glbad and a blister with pills.

A police chief told Telam that Casermeiro and Laje could be the authors of three robberies committed in the region.
