"El Chapo" is now a figurine that is sold in a shop in Culiacán

The doll can also be found online, on commercial sites such as Mercado Libre, where it is offered for 590 pesos (30 USD) plus shipping. For users who commented on the article, this seems like a good idea and others regret that it can not reach the United States.

It is not known if the store has the family's permission to market the figurine, because besides the doll "El Chapo",in hats with their initials, purses, glbades and cups to their support, according to photographs of the agency Reuters

The pseudonym of the drug dealer is a registered trademark, as shown in the global trademark database, where there are 27 records for "El Chapo" in countries such as Denmark, the United States, France and the Philippines, but four of them all stand out in Mexico whose owner is their daughter, Alejandrina Gisselle Guzmán Salazar.

Alejandrina obtained from 2010 four registered trademarks with the nickname of his father, thanks to which he can make jewelry to suitcases, trunks and umbrellas with the legend "El Chapo".

One of the registers, bearing number 1205098, authorizes games and toys, gymnastics and sports articles, as well as ornaments for Christmas trees. One-third, with serial number 1219281, refers to office articles.

Although it does not belong to the family, a record obtained last year by a Manila company, Philippines, for a mark called "MEXICAN FILIPINO FOOD CARTEL DI EL CHAPO", which even bears the logo of a man wearing the mask of a wrestler and sporting the clbadic Mexican narco mustache.

Another manufacturer of clothing and footwear in Mexico has gotten the record for "El Chapo JNS" in 2016.
