They found a corpse in a freezer and they think it comes from a missing woman 18 years ago.

The body that was found in a freezer apparently comes from a woman who disappeared more than 18 years ago, the Croatian police said on Monday.

Police in northern Croatia have reportedly arrested Jasmina's sister, Dominic, who disappeared in 2005 but was last seen in 2000.

According to a statement, the body was found Saturday in the residence of the family Dominic in the city of Pavlovec, northeast of Zagreb. More details will be published after the necropsy, said spokesman Nenad Risak.

The family had previously told police that Dominic was living abroad, Risak said.

Dominic was 23 when he disappeared. "I have never heard of a case like this," Risak said.
