The Chilean government on Thursday threw out 114 foreigners who had committed crimes or were in an irregular situation in that country, as reported by the Minister of the Interior, Andrés Chadwick, from Santiago Airport.
The 114 expelled that the government boarded an air force plane are 68 Bolivians, 32 Colombians and 14 Peruvians. So far this year, 302 foreigners have been expelled from Chile.
Chadwick reported from Santiago airport: "These are people for whom we do not want to enter the country, we want people who come to contribute and improve their family conditions. We are committed to ordering the house"
"These are the ones who did not want to seize the opportunity offered by the State of Chile (to regularize their stay), that they were not complying with the law (of l '# 39; immigration) or that they were committing criminal acts, "he insisted.
Last year, the government of Sebastián Piñera expelled more than 2,500 foreigners from Chile in the middle of an immigration regulation plan to have "a judicial and administrative record".
