Compared to other Latin American universities, UBA has placed ten races in the world's top 100 and has been surpbaded only by two institutions: the Autonomous University of Mexico with 26 degrees and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which won 17 places out of 100 best.

The names of the 48 disciplines do not fully coincide with the local denomination of the races.
