US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un exchanged greetings on Wednesday in the Vietnamese capital at the start of their second summit.
The leaders shook hands and shared laughter and a little talk at the Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel in Hanoi, where they met 20 minutes before participating in what the White House has described as a "social dinner" with his closest advisers.
Trump told reporters at the meeting that both were "waiting" for the meeting.
