The security cameras at Cairo Central Station captured the moment when a locomotive was embedded in a wall at the end of the wharf and was at least 20 dead and dozens wounded on Wednesday.

The accident occurred in the morning in one of the busiest sites of the Egyptian capital, caused a major fire and damaged part of Ramses Station's facilities, according to a journalist AFP. A dozen ambulances and as many fire engines were mobilized on the site.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbuly went to the scene of the incident. "Anyone responsible for negligence has to answer" and badume "serious" consequences, he said.
The Attorney General's office confirmed the death of 20 people whose bodies had been charred and from whom DNA samples had to be identified, and noted that 28 wounded had been transferred to seven hospitals.

Egyptian Transport Minister Hicham Arafat resigned after the accident. Prime Minister Madbuly has accepted his resignation.
