A young man with Down syndrome risked his life to save a girl drowning in the sea

One day, the Italian spent his time on the beach of Sabaudia, in the province of Latina (Lazio), Italy, with his father enjoying the good weather and the sea when everything was shaken and he had to save a life.

He and his father began to hear the calls for help from two sisters from the water, one aged 10 and the other 14 years old. The force of the waves dragged them to greater depths.

Then, Valerio He got up and, without hesitation, went to the sea with his father to get the girls. As soon as he reached the youngest, he managed a rescue operation he had learned very well during a lifeguard training. He dragged her to the beach with her head out of the water while her father went to fetch the older sister.
