On the first floor of this week, we discussed the controversy over meat consumption. Healthy, ethical, ecological? While ecological awareness largely explains the reduction in meat consumption, the economic crisis has also influenced, and above all, the images filmed in slaughterhouses showing mistreated animals. To replace meat consumption, there are options such as vegetarianism or veganism, other alternatives have also emerged as the "meatless Monday movement" or "flexitarism".

In the second part of the first floor, we talk about Greta Thunberg, the young Swedish girl who became spokeswoman for thousands of students. Greta is the initiator of the movement "a day of school strike" to demand more energetic and immediate action to fight climate change in the world. His proposal has already been extended to six countries in Europe, as well as to Australia, Canada or the United States.

In parallel with this unprecedented protest movement, the petition "L'Affaire du Siècle", which has collected more than 2 million signatures in France, also caused a great stir. The signatories are suing the French state in court for their "inaction" in the face of climate change.

#EnPrimeraPlana is also on Facebook. A program coordinated by Florencia Valdes.
