Once again, despite the economic, social and cultural vicissitudes that characterize Argentina, the good news came: The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) has once again managed to position itself in the latest edition of the international ranking by field of study prepared by the consulting firm specialized Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

Other Argentine public universities that have managed to insert part of their career in the ranking they were the national of Cordoba, the national of La Plata, the Coast, the Mar del Plata and Rosario. And between private those of Palermo, Torcuato Di Tella, Austral and San Andrés stood out.

Worldwide, according to a QS press release, 1222 universities in 18 countries were badyzed. Harvard University is again at the top of the rankings, being the world leader in 12 areas. They were followed by the Mbadachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with 11 leading careers and Oxford University with six others.
