Video: A paraglider was wounded by a kangaroo – ElSol.com.ar – Diario de Mendoza, Argentina

A paraglider landed and was attacked by a kangaroo. This unusual event occurred on the outskirts of Canberra, in the Orroral Valley of Namadgi National Park.

The paraglider Jonathan Bishop was focused on everything that went well when a kangaroo was heading straight for him.

The unusual event was recorded in the GoPro camera located in the paragliding helmet.

The man, a member of the Royal Australian Air Force, said it was the first time anything like this happened to him during a landing. At first, seeing the approaching animal did not think it would hurt him. "For starters, I thought I was going to be friendly," he said.

"I was scared when he started attacking me, I did not know whether he would continue or hit me and leave me alone," he explained.

Although this does not appear in the video, the 35-year-old kept the kangaroo at bay using his leg. Fortunately, it was a punctual situation leaving Bishop a scratch on his arm.
