Felipe Gómez-Alonzo, the Guatemalan child who died in search of the American dream

Felipe died last Christmas in the custody of the US Border Patrol. I was 8 years old.

His death coincides with the record number of young migrant families imprisoned at the US border.

In this documentary, a BBC team travels to the city of Felipe, near the border between Guatemala and Mexico, to discover what drives young people and children to embark on the dangerous journey to the north.
