Oaxaca has the first court in Mexico specializing in animal abuse

Oaxaca is the first state in the country to have a specialized court in the treatment, eradication and punishment of animal abuse.

This court is the first of its kind in Mexico and its main function will be to correctly apply the Society's Sanitary Control and Protection Regulations, in force in the State.

During the first month of activity, the court received 21 cases being processed., three of which were already sanctioned.
