The government doubts the identity of Iranians and waits for a key report from Interpol

The official reported that from Greece they had confirmed that the man was identified as Iranian, but under a different name than the one he had stated during his arrest in Argentina: Sajjad Samiel Naserani. The woman said to call her Mashoreh Sabzali. The confirmation also waits.

"Interpol Iran still has to answer to the identity of these people. We will see what Iran responds to if it has any history"Bullrich said in statements to Miter Radio.

While Judge Luis Rodríguez defined the situation of the detainees and the federal police continued to collect data on the case, the official had emphasized the immediate reaction to the orange alert that had warned against the 39; admission. "The important thing here is that, as a state, we reacted quickly. The federal police had an impeccable action in the search and the possibility of finding them", he added.

"The migration system, which we connected in 2016, worked perfectly. An orange alert has been given. But this must be interpreted correctly, because the orange alert concerns the documentation but at the same time, the person has no obstacle to enter."explained the security officer.

Bullrich reiterated that it was "a human error" in the proceedings, which allowed the couple to enter the country. "In this case, the migrants interpreted the document without realizing that, even if they were not prevented from entering, the fact of being adulterated should be concealed and clarified the whole thing before a judge. This was the procedure that was not performed"he added.

Sajjad Samiel Naserani and Mashoreh Sabzali arrived in Argentina from Spain, where they also entered and exited without any restrictions. "Interpol's orange warning system needs to be interpreted very well because it says two contradictory things: that the pbadport has come in but the person is not doing it."Bullrich said.

The minister explained how the proper procedure should have been. "Call the police, stop them and see if this adulterated pbadport is the product of an error, if it has been stolen or falsified to hide, as in this case, the true identity of the person.".

For Bullrich too "there was a chain of human errors"as admitted Horacio García, national director of migration. "Fortunately, it was possible to fix it quickly with the arrest" of the couple.

"The migrations depend on the Ministry of the Interior and they reported that the responsible persons had been displaced as it was a serious fault. The people of Migrations did not respect the chain of command when the alert jumped; they have a series of checks and that's what has failed and has consequences for those responsible", concluded Bullrich.

During these hours, the Iranians spent 85 seconds on their call after arriving in Ezeiza. According to the information available, they contacted a law firm specialized in migration. It is therefore expected that in the coming days more information will be provided on the activity that they hoped to develop in Argentina.
